David Hertz Architects Inc. promotes the use of recycled materials, creating projects rather unusual and spectacular.

The Wing House is a perfect residence, situated in the hills not far from Malibu, and enjoys an exceptional view of the surrounding mountains and the Pacific Ocean also has a luxurious cabin and used the wings of a Boeing 747-200 for its realization.

The two main wings and the stabilizer of the tail section thus acting as a roof for the main bedroom, the FirstClass platform and part of the fuselage above were used for the roof of a guest house, while the bottom half of the fuselage was used for the roof of a barn.

The aim was to produce a structure with rounded shapes, according to the wishes of the owner, and take advantage of the panorama.

The idea of using the roof for a wing of an airplane, it soon became apparent. After modeling, the wings of the mighty Boeing 747-200 appeared to be adequate for this project.
