Ladurée 150 th anniversary: revisiting the macaron


The haute French patisserie, Ladurée copies this year 150 years. Ladurée was founded in 1862 in Paris and in recent years his fame has grown exponentially, becoming one of the most popular house in the world of pastry.

After a fire in 1871 the brand and then seeks to renew the shop transformed into a tea room, collaborating with Jules Cheret, an artist who creates paintings of the room. The House decides to propose ... that's when the specialty gourmet macaroons were born.

In 1993 the new owner David Holder, decided to turn the tea room in Paris in a brand famous and loved around the world.

Holder begins to open several stores in the cult places of the capital, from the Champs Elysées to the Rue Bonaparte, to target tourists.

To celebrate 150 years, Ladurée has many new features every month and will be unveiled one. The first is the box 1862, a shrine that pays tribute to the year of the bakery Ladurée creation by Louis Ernest Ladurée.

Ladurée macaroons in Paris revisits creating a new recipe ... sweet new name Incroyables compounds from the two shells that enclose a traditional recipe that will have many tastes with new crank, composed of marshmallow.

The Incroyables pay homage to the first of Ladurée macaroons to taste of almonds with green shells and white interior.
