The project, in the next few years saw the birth of a cultural district of Saadiyat island, the Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), which deals with the development of the region, has published the date of inauguration of the Cultural District museums: The Louvre Abu Dhabi will open in 2015, the Zayed National Museum in 2016 and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi in 2017.

Yesterday, the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, said: "The museums of the Cultural District of Saadiyat Island will help make Abu Dhabi one of the destinations in the world's leading culture and tourism and will encourage communication and integration of different cultures."
The Louvre Abu Dhabi universal museum will be the first in the Arab world, and inside you can see paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, manuscripts and historical objects, cultural. The museum will have its own dome 180 feet in diameter with a perforated decoration.
The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi will be a source of contemporary art masterpieces and show international and local and regional works. The structure will recall the architecture of the Gulf, combined with iconic cones that evoke wind towers.
Zayed National Museum will tell the story of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, through the history and culture of the UAE. It 'was designed by Norman Foster and his towers recall the wings of the falcon, symbol of the emirate and its culture. The museum has seven permanent galleries.
Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of TDIC, said:
